Conservation Work Report – 15th December

The snow and sub-zero temperature did not deter our volunteers.

We soon warmed up, cutting brambles and tree saplings under the direction of Jamie from Cheshire Wildlife Trust – with breaks for mince pies and hot coffee.

Our work has created more open space on the Ladies Mile side of the sandpit for the heather to colonise.

Thank you to all who turned out. We could not have done it without you.
