Amazing Litter-pick Heroes
On Sunday, 14th June, sixteen volunteers gathered on The Heath for our community litter pick. It was wonderful to see so many people turn out! With equipment kindly provided by Knutsford Town Council, our friendly and enthusiastic team spread out to cover every part of The Heath.
After an hour, everyone returned to the meeting point with bags full of the usual items: bottles, cans, food wrappers, and a few pieces of clothing. It was a real team effort, and the results spoke for themselves.
A huge thank you to everyone who gave up their Sunday morning to take part. You really made a difference. Thanks also to Knutsford Town Council for providing the litter-picking equipment that makes these events possible.
It’s also worth noting that, overall, The Heath was remarkably litter-free. This shows the care and respect of the people who use and enjoy it every day. Thank you to everyone who helps keep this special place as beautiful as it should be.
