The first of our new series of conservation work parties got off to a good start in September, so we are looking forward to a good turnout for the second one on Thursday, 20th October. It will run from 10 am to 1 pm, the same as last time.
Jamie White of Cheshire Wildlife Trust will lead the work in the nature reserve. Jamie has a list of tasks he wants us to complete but doesn’t expect us to do them all in a single session. He will be keeping us busy for several months.
For those who did not do so last time, he asks that you complete the volunteer form required for you to be covered by Cheshire Wildlife Trust’s insurance while doing the work. It will save time on the day if you fill it in beforehand. You will only need to do it once.
Jamie may also ask you to fill in a questionnaire. It isn’t obligatory, but it will enable Cheshire Wildlife Trust to obtain grant funding for the tools from Sport England.
He will park his van near the corner of Warren Close and Ladies Mile just before ten o’clock and would appreciate a hand carrying the tools into the nature reserve.
Finally, please let us know through our contact page if you are coming. It will help Jamie figure out how many tools to bring.
