The Heath is a wonderful open space in the centre of Knutsford, enjoyed by people living in and visiting the town. It is a place for dog walking, sports training, playing, or just sitting and relaxing.
It provides the site for Knutsford’s ‘Royal’ May Day celebrations and other events through the year, such as the Scouts car boot sale.
The Heath is a popular and much-used. To protect it from misuse, the Friends of The Heath, along with the landowner and the Town Council, have established a set of Guiding Principles for proposed events. These principles are designed to ensure that everyone can continue to enjoy this shared space with minimal disruption and damage.
