This year’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on
Thursday, 24th November,
at the Jubilee Hall, Stanley Road.
The event will be in two parts:
a heritage presentation at 7pm,
the AGM business at 8pm.

Presentation:
Nether Knutsford Heath from 1017 to 2022
Jenny Collis, a volunteer with Knutsford Heritage Centre, will give a presentation about Nether Knutsford Heath from 1017 to 2022, taking you on a journey through time, linking yesterday’s history with more recent times.
She will talk about how Nether Knutsford Heath has been used and by whom, including some well-documented events and a few surprises. Bonfires, rowdyism, dumping and damage. Musters, battles, and military camps. Cockfighting, rabbit hunting, annual sports days and golf.
It will be illustrated with maps, old postcards, drawings and photographs.
Jenny will not only seek to confirm or update previously held opinions, but she will suggest answers to some intriguing questions, leaving the audience to decide.
