A record number of volunteers turned out to help at today’s litter-pick. In total we had 35, including several from Gandey’s Circus who were camped on The Heath. We are grateful to them for not only turning out but also for providing free refreshments.
The new litter-picking equipment (pickers, bag-loops, etc.) provided by Cheshire East Council for the Clean for The Queen campaign made the job easier. We don’t want to keep them to ourselves but will share them with anyone who wants to do their own litter-picking in Knutsford.
Here are just a few of the items we found scattered around.
