The snow and sub-zero temperature did not deter our volunteers. We soon warmed up, cutting brambles and tree saplings under the direction of Jamie from Cheshire Wildlife Trust - with breaks for mince pies and hot coffee. Thursday 15th December is the date of our next conservation work session. As usual, Cheshire Wildlife Trust will lead the work, running from 10 am to 1 pm. It was a cool, misty morning on the first day of December. We had a productive session clearing gorse and tree saplings in the sand pit.
