Today, we had a wonderful turn out of super litter-pick volunteers. Almost twenty local residents roamed The Heath searching for litter and brought back bags full.
We were disappointed, though not surprised, to find discarded packaging from the new fish and chip shop scattered on The Heath.
And we were disgusted to find a fly-tipped pile of empty tuna fish packets. Such antisocial (and illegal) behavior is incomprehensible.
As ever, a big thank you to all the volunteers who gave their time to clean up our much-loved Heath.
