We will hold our Big Garden Birdwatch on Sunday 29th January.
Friends of The Heath are participating in a pan-Knutsford event with Friends of the Moor and the Knutsford Ornithological Society. Friends of the Moor will have their session on the Moor on Saturday, and we will have ours on The Heath on Sunday. The Knutsford Ornithological Society members will provide their expertise at both sessions.
This is part of the national survey run by the RSPB. It is important because it records the state of our bird population year on year.
We hope you will come and join us and do your bit for wildlife conservation.

Tips for recording:
- Only include birds that land, not those flying over.
- Count the highest number of each species you see at any one time; otherwise, you could count the same bird twice.
