The Lions held their annual charity fair on The Heath on the late May bank holiday. It attracted lots of visitors who learned about the many charitable organisations who had stalls. We enjoyed a great turnout of local volunteers on a warm sunny day. Our main task was to eradicate birch, gorse and bramble in the heather areas. Our next conservation work day in the Knutsford Heath Nature Reserve will be on Tuesday 14th from 10:00 am till 3:00 pm. Our Great British Spring Clean event had a fantastic turn out today with over twenty volunteers - including five lively performers from Gandeys Circus.
