The weather favoured us again for our second “Nature on The Heath” event on Sunday, 17th July. We enjoyed a gloriously sunny afternoon with our lovely visitors. While some had their faces painted, played giant snakes and ladders or created things at the craft tables, others ventured into the nature reserve to hunt the trails or take a guided walk.
We hope our visitors enjoyed the event. If you’d like to give us any feedback, please do so though our contact page. Is there anything you’d like us to do in future? We’d love to hear from you.
We’re grateful for all the support we received, without which this event couldn’t have been staged.
Lots of people helped on the day to make it a success, including our friends and family members who pitched in, the many volunteers from Knutsford Hosts who generously gave their time, Sofie and Kirstie who stepped in at short notice from Mere Day Nursery, Claire Stringer who brought her giant snakes and ladders, Knutsford Scouts who lent their tent and tables, and the organisations who joined us:
- Cheshire Wildlife Trust
- Cycle Knutsford
- Knutsford Community First Responder Trust
- Lower Moss Wood Educational Nature Reserve
Others, who supported us in the background, were Emma Moore of Damsel in Design who provided the wonderful promotional art work and our financial grant providers Equilibrium Asset Management and Cheshire East Council.
And finally, we’re indebted to Jonathan Farber for sharing his lovely photos which give a flavour of the event.
