Looking after Knutsford Heath

Five hardy volunteers helped with the conservation work on Tuesday 18th October and achieved a lot in a short time, removing unwanted vegetation from two areas and installing more nest boxes. Tuesday's work group advanced the boundary post replacement and brash clearing jobs started previously. The tasks were complete by lunch-time so we were able to enjoy the sunny afternoon at our leisure. Thank you to Cheshire Wildlife Trust and our fantastic volunteers! Kevin Griffiths
