Conservation Day – Digging & Cutting

Tuesday's team comprised Friends of The Heath, Cheshire Wildlife Trust and a Knutsford Academy student. In total we had ten volunteers, sufficient to do two tasks. One group replaced rotten fence posts that mark the boundary between the reserve and the open grassland, while the other group cut and stacked brash along the boundary with Ladies Mile.... We're holding another conservation work day in the Knutsford Heath Nature Reserve on Tuesday 12th April from 10:00 am till 3:00 pm. Litter-pick Breaks Record

A record number of volunteers turned out to help at today's litter-pick. In total we had 35, including several from Gandey's Circus who were camped on The Heath.
