Looking after Knutsford Heath
I was saddened to learn that Gwen, one of the three ladies who installed a bench for dog-walkers, has passed away. Her cheery hellos will be much missed. Friends of The Heath extend their most sincere condolences to her family and friends. Kevin Griffiths

Our litter-pick on Sunday was blessed with warm, sunny weather and a fantastic group of volunteers who cleaned The Heath in just over an hour! Well done everyone and thanks for your help. It was wonderful to see both familiar and new faces, and we hope to see you all again. Kevin Griffiths

Friends of The Heath are running another litter-pick event on Knutsford Heath on Sunday 27th September between 11am and 1pm. The annual car boot sale, organised by the Scouts, attracted plenty of visitors today. I hope lots of bargains were found and the kids enjoyed the challenge of scaling the climbing wall. Kevin Griffiths
