Conservation Work Party – 27th September

On Friday, 27th September, we will restart our monthly nature conservation work with Cheshire Wildlife Trust (CWT). Over the coming months, we will be focusing on tasks such as removing holly, maintaining heather by keeping it free of saplings and gorse, and ensuring the nest boxes are in good shape. CWT will supervise the work and will provide the necessary equipment.

Please join us if you can, as our volunteers will be crucial in completing the tasks. “Many hands make light work” will be the key to our success.

The session will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., but you can join and leave at any time. If you plan to stay for the whole session, please bring your own food and drink, as we will have a lunch break. Also, please wear appropriate clothing to protect against the weather and prickly vegetation.

We are looking forward to seeing you.

Start time: 10 a.m. Friday, 27th September
Meeting place: nature reserve interpretation board

Following this inaugural session, we may adjust the regular day of the month to accommodate everyone’s availability. Let us know if you have a preference.

You can get in touch through this site’s contact form.
